Returning for it’s seventh series, adventurer Ben Fogle sets off to meet more people who have turned their back on the rat-race and set up home in some of the most remote locations on Earth in Ben Fogle: New Lives In The Wild - series 7.

He joins a variety of brave individuals who chose to venture down a very alternative path to everyday life. Watch as Ben meets American master craftsman Robert Runyon (70), whose home has been the Arkansas woods for the past 20 years; Widow Judith Hoad who rejected a modern way of life and now at 80, is still determined to live alone in the wilds of Ireland; French-Canadian Julien Desilet (40) a Buddhist monk in the remote jungles of Thailand; Andy (38), Amber (33) and their 2 young kids - a nomadic family who explore New Zealand’s wild landscapes; Randi Skaug (58), an Norwegian adventurer who lives on her own island in the Arctic Circle; Miriam (34) & Peter (64) Lancewood, a couple who have spent the last 12 years walking across the world and are now hiking across the mountains of Bulgaria; Christopher Clark and his brother Paul, Scotsmen who have made the remote Brazilian Amazon their home (the first NLITW episode to be shot in South America) and Jeff & Rose Burkinshaw and their 5 young daughters living off-grid in British Columbia, Canada.

Ben wants to discover the reality of leaving it all behind and meet those who’ve chosen to ditch a life dominated by debts and daily grind and go in search of something different.  So is it daring or just downright crazy….
