Maeve McLoughlin

Development Executive

Maeve began her career within factual entertainment and has worked for a range of independent production companies gaining a number of credits including Flinch (Netflix); Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (ITV); Blind Date (Channel 5); Beauty Queen And Single (BBC);  Parents’ Evening (BBC NI) and Don’t Say It, Bring It (Dave). She developed the RTS award winning Stellify Media format ‘Beauty Queen & Single,’ which has gone on to sell in a number of territories across the UK and Europe.

In 2019 Maeve was appointed as Youth Executive for BBC 3, working closely with indies in Scotland and Northern Ireland to develop factual entertainment formats aimed at a youth audience with digital appeal. Within her role Maeve helped to guide a number of companies within the BBC 3 development process, and helped to commission a number of Northern Ireland indies for network series'.

Maeve acted as Commissioning Executive for the highly successful BBC 3 docuseries Angels of the North on both series two and three, and has acted as BBC Executive Producer for a number of commissions for BBC Northern Ireland.
